Educational Spring Farm Tours
We invite you and your class to spend a day with us at Honeysuckle Hill for our 2008 Spring Educational Program. Combining our experience in farming and teaching, we have created fun, interactive activities and exhibits on our farm to complement your school curriculum and provide for a memorable and exciting learning experience for your students.
We have two tour options:

The Learning Center-Hopper Hunts for Spring (Help Hopper discover spring using your five senses.)
Visit with the Farm Animals-horses, donkeys, goats, cows, rabbits, chickens, and pigs. Meet Betsy the milk cow and try your hand at milking.
Wagon Ride-15 minute scenic ride around the farm.*
Easter Egg Hunt-Children hunt for colorful Easter eggs and exchange them for treats and prizes.
Visit with the Easter Bunny-the Easter Bunny will be hopping around the farm. This is a great opportunity for pictures. |
The Learning Center-Students will learn the parts of a plant and what plants need to grow.
Activity Center-students will get to plant a seed and learn what that seed needs in order to grow into a healthy plant.

Wagon Ride-15 minute scenic ride around the farm.*
Nature Trail-Hike down the hill to Battle Creek and see all the beautiful signs of spring.
*We are sorry, but the Wagon Ride does not run on wet days. |
Each farm tour will last approximately one hour. We hope that you will bring your picnic lunch and stay awhile. We have a great playground including wood play forts, hay mountain, tractor tire maze, 40' "Monster Rippler" Slide, and more. We have a gift shop, concession stand and handicapped accessible toilets.
Reservations are required. Tours are $6 per person.
