About Us...

Jeff Alsup, owner of Honeysuckle Hill Farm Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maze and Haunted Hayride in Springfield, TennesseeJeff and Julie Alsup along with their two children, Hunter and Mikayla, live in Coopertown, Tennessee on their thirty-four acre farm they named Honeysuckle Hill Farm

Julie Alsup, owner of Honeysuckle Hill Farm Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maze and Haunted Hayride in Springfield, TennesseeAs a young boy Jeff dreamed of farming.  He couldn’t do this very easily in Memphis, Tennessee where he was born and raised, but his grandfather owned a farm in the small town of Dexter in southeast Missouri.  Every chance that Jeff got, he would travel to his grandfather’s farm to spend time in the country farming with his grandfather.

Jeff learned a lot about farming from his grandfather and loved every minute he spent on the farm, but did not believe he could make a living doing what he loved, so he began to pursue an accounting degree at David Lipscomb University.

Jeff and Julie were married June 1, 1991.  They lived in Joelton, Tennessee while searching for a permanent place to live.  In 1995 they found and purchased a small farm in Coopertown.  They began building a house and moved into it in the spring of 1996.

In 2003, Jeff and Julie decided it was time to give their farm a name and invite a few schools to tour the pumpkin patch and learn about farm life.  This was a huge success and each year has grown. Jeff quit his accounting job in the fall of 2005 and is now living his dream on the farm.  God is good!!!
