Our Story

How It All Began

by Farmer Jeff

In 1995 I purchased 12 Acres in beautiful Robertson County with no vision of Honeysuckle Hill Farm, just a place to raise my kids and do a little farming. Growing up in Memphis, Tennessee, I was a city boy with a dream of farming some day.

As a kid, I spent a lot of time on my grandpa’s farm in Southeast Missouri. This was the origin for my passion for farming. My grandpa spent time teaching me to work the land and the joys of sharing his farm with others. As an adult, I purchased 12 acres in Springfield, Tennessee and began hobby farming.

It all began with a few acres of corn and a few pumpkins. The reward for my hard work was the joy of sharing with others. In 2003, I had my first Fall Festival for church friends and neighbors. It was then that I realized this was my passion. My friends suggested I start a pumpkin patch on the farm, so I took their advice and started this endeavor as a hobby. With one small Fall Festival for friends, Honeysuckle Hill Farm was born and grew faster than my wildest dreams! After a couple of years, I had the opportunity to quit my day job to pursue my dreams and grow my farm business.

Honeysuckle Hill Farm has evolved into Middle Tennessee’s Largest Outdoor Halloween Attraction. Since opening, we have added the Scream Creek Haunted Attractions, Nashville’s Music City Corn Maze, and the Zipline Adventure Park. Honeysuckle Hill Farm now covers 200 acres and is managed not only by me but also my daughter, son-in-law and about 150 of the finest farm hands in Middle Tennessee.

We truly are living the dream, sharing traditions, and making memories.
