The Alsup Family

Honeysuckle Hill Farm is owned and operated by Jeff and Julie Alsup.

Jeff spent a lot of time as a child on his grandfather's farm in Dexter, Missouri, and knew then that he wanted to be a farmer.

Jeff says his grandfather taught him everything he knows about farming, and especially a love for living and working on the farm.

Today, Honeysuckle Hill Farm in Coopertown, TN is all about sharing this farm experience with the families and children that come as their guests.

Julie, who also teaches kindergarten, loves the farm as much as Jeff. She particularly enjoys the excitement of combining her love of both farming and education, and devotes considerable time to planning and overseeing the Honeysuckle Hill Farm Educational Program. The school tours provide an exciting, interactive experience for the students that integrates the school curriculum in a fun and meaningful program.

Hunter and Mikayla Alsup both have spent most of their lives at Honeysuckle Hill Farm, and they are great farm hands. Ages 12 and 9, respectively, they are learning more and more farm skills every day, and they love helping their visitors learn more about the farm, animals, and crops.
